| It used to be that painters made up
their own paints from natural ingredients, each craftsman having
his
own special formulas. Industrialization changed that along with so
many other things. In the late Sixties, Beeck’sche Farbwerke,
a manufacturer of true mineral paints since 1894 and located near
Stuttgart, Germany, introduced plant-based AGLAIA Natural Paints.
These natural paints were based on old recipes but were modified
to
modern needs and applications. The name AGLAIA is taken from Greek
Mythology. AGLAIA was a muse of Aphrodite and she represents splendor
and beauty. Over the years AGLAIA Natural Paints have earned a solid
reputation for their quality and range of application. |
